As far as I am aware the track has always been in a less than ideal state and after a recent track day the event organizers complained which resulted in an argument between the management and the owner. The managers got booted out and the owner decided to shut the place down until they can repave the track... At least that is what i've been able to tell. Lots of rumors circling around and now they have a Save Nelsons Website which doesn't really make any sense. Snap understeers post has been taken as actual news report by people who don't know context of oppo and therefore alot of people have been sharing it. All in all its all convoluted and confusing and is making my job as editior a PITA because I need to figure out the facts quickly so I can still push out the June issue in time for people to be updated on the situation.
